Bella (Italian for beautiful!) is a gorgeous little piglet who was born in an intensive piggery.  Bella’s future looked bleak…

She faced a life severely confined as a breeding pig – or not much of a life at all, before being killed to become pork, bacon or ham on a supermarket shelf.

Instead, Bella now faces a long and
happy life!  She has been adopted by Animals Australia and is our living ambassador for SaveBabe.com and for her unique species.

Bella is being cared for by expert animal behaviouralist Sharon Holden and together they have made public appearances meeting children and their parents prior to Christmas.

At times they have been joined by Bella’s celebrity ‘aunts’ Jackie O, Suzie Wilks and Jessica Napier.

             

Later in December Bella was joined by a VIP ‘uncle’ – Farmer Hogget himself
from the movie ‘Babe’!... Hollywood star, James Cromwell.

Bella loves cuddles and racing around the backyard with her new best buddy, Sharon’s dog Talle.  Her favourite place to snooze is on Sharon’s couch… and Bella’s already discovered what life is like as a celebrity. Every time she goes for a walk with Sharon, Bella finds herself surrounded by adoring children all wanting to tickle her tummy!
