As you will know, Animals Australia's savebabe.com is continuing to go from strength to strength, and we have recently launched a series of newspaper, billboard and bus adverts to inform consumers about the plight of Australia's 5 million factory-farmed pigs. As part of our new savebabe.com campaign - our 'I've made the Pro Pig Pledge!' initiative - rescued 6-week-old piglet Wilbur will be joined by staff, members and supporters of Animals Australia in Melbourne city centre on Saturday 16th December (weather permitting) to inform Christmas shoppers about our savebabe.com campaign and to let them know what they can do to help improve the lives of millions of Australian pigs. Can you spare an hour or two to come along and help Wilbur on Saturday 16th December? Whether you have a spare hour or can join us for the whole day (11am - 4pm), we would be delighted to see you there! All volunteers will receive a free 'I've made the Pro Pig Pledge!' t-shirt and will get to meet the gorgeous Wilbur, fresh from his experience of walking down the red carpet with Hollywood star Dakota Fanning at the Charlotte's Web premiere! |
